Conrad Hamill is a music director, pianist, cellist, educator and a graduate of a Bachelor of Music at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 2015. He has extensive experience across a range of disciplines in the Australian professional music theatre, cabaret, commercial and classical music industries. His most notable credits as Music Director include the upcoming Australian and NZ tour of Courtney Act’s Under The Covers (Working Management), Sunday in the Park with George (Little Triangle), Into the Woods (Federation University), Neighbourhood Watch (Katie Elle-Reeve), Hispanic Attack! (One Eyed Man Productions), Side Show (One Eyed Man Productions) and the 2016 Carols by Cabaret (Marika Aubrey and Highway Run Productions).
In conjunction with this, Conrad has recently worked as either a pit musician or accompanist for In the Heights (Blue Saint Productions), La La Lounge, The Australian Girls Choir, Gondwana Choirs, Broadway Reimagined, Violet (Blue Saint Productions), Spring Awakening (ATYP), Melba (New Musicals Australia), House Warming (New Musicals Australia) and Spring Awakening (StageTek). As a commercial artist, Conrad works under the agencies String Source, String Space and Luxe Strings which has seen him work with Gang of Youths, James Arthur, Adele, Mark Vincent, Ministry of Sound, Pete Tong and in TV appearances with The X-Factor and The Morning Show.
While performing is great thrill for him, music education is also a particular interest of Conrad's. Since graduating in 2015, Conrad has been fortunate enough to teach either cello, voice or music theatre at the Australian Performing Arts Grammar School, Brent Street Studios, Innaburra School and throughout 2017 Conrad taught and music directed a number of projects for the 3rd Year Bachelor of Music Theatre students at the Federation University Sydney Campus.
Conrad co-founded Little Triangle in order to provide a platform for emerging creatives and performers to engage with and develop their craft.
